Her work, rooted in emotion and transformation, is a testament to her journey of self-discovery and resilience. Gill’s art is a blend of alchemy and storytelling, turning ordinary materials and found objects into extraordinary expressions of her authentic self. She has been known to describe herself as an “accidental artist”, that is, a woman who stumbled on her ability to make art out of found objects and realized she had been observing art in all environments for a long time before she actually began to create pieces.

Jean-Sébastien Senécal has always had a keen eye for capturing diverse compositions. Immediately after graduating from Dawson College in Montreal, he began working across multiple spheres of commercial photography (fashion, hair, makeup, architecture, portraits), which led him to refine the subtlety and precision of his lighting. This was followed by a two-year journey in London, where he drew inspiration from the immense diversity of the European continent. Leading him to photograph many seasons of London and Paris Fashion Week. His wide-ranging experiences have pushed him to develop a talent for guiding the viewer’s eye to dance across the image, allowing him to work in the field of photography for the past 17 years. As for his partner, Hubert Poe (founder of the eponymous costume brand), the visual arts have always been an integral part of his life. With his creative lens constantly in motion, inspiration is born wherever his gaze lands—forming, evolving, and refining itself in his mind before taking shape through various mediums. After studying in Montreal, Geneva, and Berlin, he specialized in costume design, while also working in set design and art direction for photo shoots. The two artists first met during a photo shoot in 2012, but it was not until 2020 that they collaborated for the first time as a creative duo. Since then, they have been regularly sought after by the drag community for the unique experience they offer their models.
